The story begins with Spanky, who is the president of the "He-Man Woman Haters Club" with many school-aged boys from around the neighborhood as members. His best friend, Alfalfa, has been chosen as the driver for the club's prize-winning go-kart, called "The Blur", in the annual Soap Box Derby style race. However, when the announcement is made, Alfalfa is nowhere to be found. The boys catch Alfalfa in the company of Darla -- "a girl!" Alfalfa isn't like his friends because he's in love with Darla, and unfortunately threatens the very existence of their "boys only" club. The club's members try their hardest to break the two apart, eventually causing their beloved clubhouse to burn down. Darla is mistakenly led to believe Alfalfa feels ashamed of her, so she turns her attentions to Waldo, the new rich kid whose father is an oil tycoon. Further trouble ensures when their prized go-cart "The Blur" is stolen by local neighborhood bullies Butch and Woim. How can they win the big race and its prize trophy?! In addition to having to rebuild the clubhouse, the boys now need a new set of wheels. They band together to build "Blur 2: The Sequel." Prior to race day, Spanky and Alfalfa reconcile and decide to ride in the two-seat go-kart together.

The Drift Bible is something of a legend for wanna-be drifters. Presented by Keiichi Tsuchiya - the Drift King - this DVD demonstrates in detail the technique behind drifting. Multiple cameras provide in-car views providing views of the cockpit, footwell and rpm. Equipped witha brake light at the front of the car provides further indication as to braking points and speeds used to initiate the weight transition into a drift via steering, pedal and handbrake technique as well as the lines to take out on track.

The Techniques: E-Brake, Shift Lock, Power Over, Braking, Feint and Lift Off.
These are the six basic techniques you need to master to DRIFT! Tsuchiya explains and demonstrates in detail how to utilize these various techniques to drift your car. In car cameras show how he maneuvers the car from inside. A foot pedal cam and indicators shows how to use the brakes and accelerator. Drift machines and Tuning Tips: Tsuchiya shows how to drift using cars with different characteristics. He tells us which modes are necessary to drift and advice on what kind of tires to choose. Learn from the King!. Practice Methods: After tire screeching demonstrations he always stops to break down the process of the entire maneuver. We make sure we show the entire flow of these movements to make sure you don't miss anything!

Having demonstrated the basics in the ever popular drift machine - Nissan's Silvia, the Drift King demonstrates the different weight transition characteristics between the classic Toyota AE86 Corolla, Nissan S14 200sx, and Toyota's mid-engined MR2. Gravity balls display further just how each car is reacting.

This is the story of a solidly middle-class African-American family that reunites for Christmas for the first time in seveal years. Ma'dere (Loretta Devine) is the Matriarch who's Los Angeles home is where the vast majority of the story takes place. As with any family gathering there are topics that are best not discussed. When they are discussed here they end up in fights -verbal or physical (an excellent sister-on sister catfight stands out here). One sister is encouraging the siblings to sell the family dry cleaning business and split the profits. One bother is running from loan sharks. One brother is AWOL from the Marine Corps and One sister has brought along the man she's dating at a historically Black college. Despite what the trailers and TV commercials may lead you to think this is not a warm syurpy comedy. There are dramatic moments, violence and course language. It is however very much a slice-of-life that not enough hollywood features present. This family, warts and all, is definitely not a hollywood feel-good film with blackfaces. It is authentic in it's portrayal of themes facing African-Americans in particular but Americans in general.
